Something about myself.

Some friends have questioned me,
"Why do you place so much stress on yourself and not enjoying your life while you have the energy to do so? You're young."

I would say that I view life with a different perspective from some. My view is that while you're young, you have tons of opportunity to make a difference to your future - creating better lives for your future family and parents. However, having stated my perspective, I understand that academics is not only the option to measure how successful one is. It is one of the many options. Some may have opted a different one from me. I respect it.

One, of course, must realize every option has its own boon and bane. There will be sacrifices that have to be made. Also, there is no easy way out for one to be successful. Everyone knows it - Without failure, there won't come success. Failure is part and parcel of the path towards success. Regardless of how much we detest the occurrence of failure in life, we must embrace and learn from it, because it is worse never to have tried or taste it.

Of course, I have been through countless times of failures in the path of achieving what I want. Not to mention, there were small accomplishments from time to time too. Most importantly is we do not stop here. As has been said, "There is no mountain so high that we cannot conquer it we are determined to succeed."

With great determination and hard work, anything is possible.
